Doris M. Booth, of Wellington, Kansas, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 86.
Doris was born the daughter of Earl J. and Mary (Dillon) Patton on Thursday, December 17, 1925 in Caldwell, Kansas.
On May 9, 1946, Doris and Ivan W. Booth were united in marriage in Wichita, Kansas. Together they celebrated 66 years of marriage.
Survivors include her husband, Ivan Booth of Winfield, Kansas; sons, Robert W. Booth and his wife Joanna of Coffeyville, Kansas, David A. Booth and his wife Susan of Colbert, Oklahoma and Charles M. Booth of Wellington, Kansas; grandchildren, John Booth, Tracy King and her husband Seth, Robert Booth, Sara Berghoefer and her husband Chad, William Booth, Lisa Herring, Bryan Booth and his wife Lisa and Chris Booth, 11 great-grandchildren, her sisters-in-law, Rosie Patton and Eleanor Patton along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Doyal and Irvin Patton and great-grandson, Damion James Booth.
Memorial services for Doris will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012 in the chapel of Day Funeral Home, 1030 Mission Road, Wellington, Kansas. Pastor Virgil Swift will officiate.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
Memorials have been established in her loving memory with American Diabetes Association. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
