Wellington Christmas parade cancelled

The Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce CVB announced today that the Christmas Parade scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. has been cancelled.

The event was set to take place in downtown Wellington on Dec. 1, but due to a lack of participation, the parade was called off.

However, Santa Claus will still be making an appearance at Heritage Park at 2 p.m.  downtown. He will visit with kids and pass out candy.

Saturday is also Holiday Open House in downtown Wellington.
