  • Wellington girls vs. Medicine Lodge
    It was game well in hand by halftime as the Lady-Crusaders beat the Medicine Lodge Lady-Indians on Dec. 6. The game was a part of the Kingman Eagle Classic, Wellington's first contest of the 2012-13 season. Wellington was up 23-7 at the break and would go on to win 50-23.

    The Lady-Crusaders made 13 field goals plus five baskets from beyond the three-point arch. One area the team will look to improve on is free throws, WHS was just 9-25 in their first game. They play again tonight at 6:20 p.m. against Kingman as the tournament continues.
    Wellington boys vs. Medicine Lodge
    Despite a slow start in the first quarter, the Wellington boys basketball team got a decisive "W" to start their season, and their play in the Kingman Eagle Classic. They beat Medicine Lodge 37-27 on Dec. 6.
