Randall Steven Sanders, 59, of Winfield, passed away January 5, 2013.
Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Winfield. Memorials have been established with Donate Life America and First United Methodist Youth Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Randy was born April 5, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Joe and Mayrene Sanders. He received his early education in Fort Smith and later Winfield. He graduated from Winfield High School in 1971.
Randy attended Cowley Junior College and later the University of Wyoming where he was a member of both football teams. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. Randy practiced pharmacy in numerous settings for 35 years and was honored to be elected President of the Kansas Pharmacists Association in 2001. Randy received many awards throughout his career and in November 2001 he was awarded his Doctorate of Pharmacy by the state of Oklahoma. On July 27, 1973, he married Shawn Emerson, they were married for 24 years and had two daughters. Randy loved spending time with his family, especially his four precious grandchildren. He enjoyed riding his Harley, going to "coffee" with his friends, fishing, caring for others, and living life to the fullest. He was proud to attend his 41st Walnut Valley Festival last September. Randy was always looking forward to the times he could travel with family or friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughters Jennifer Madrigal, and husband, David, Winfield, and Katie Walker, and husband, Ryan, Independence; sisters, Kathy Herson, and husband, John, Denton, TX, and Regina Foliart, Benton, AR; brother, Rick Sanders, and wife, Carol Ann, Denton, TX; grandchildren, Kale, Kye, and Kline Madrigal, and Brinley Walker; and many close family members and wonderful friends.
