Margaret Prichard, 79, of Oxford, Kansas, passed away, January 30, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in Wellington, KS.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Kansas. Visitation will be held Friday from 9:00 to 8:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday evening. A memorial has been established with the American Lung Association. Margaret Prichard was born on February 27, 1933 the daughter of Jesse and Rebecca (Jones) Waggoner in Winfield, Kansas. She was a 1952 graduate of the Winfield High School. She was united in marriage with John Prichard on January 16, 1960 in Winfield, Kansas. Margaret enjoyed sewing, puzzles and needlework. She liked living and working on the family farm. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving to honor her memory is her son, Steven Prichard and wife Sheila of Oxford, daughters, Susan Prichard of Key Largo, Florida and Linda Knight of Oxford, Kansas, three grandsons; Eric Prichard, Jarod Prichard and Landon Knight, three sisters; Nancy John of Lindsborg, Kansas, Lila Armstrong and Linda Stewart both of Winfield, Kansa
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband John in 2009 and sister jean Waggoner.
