Wellington places second at Andover Central on Monday.

For the second time in two tournaments, Wellington would have two, top-10 finishers. One of them topped the top-10. Logan Woodbridge, senior, shot a 73, winning the Andover Central Invitational on April 8.

"What an amazing accomplishment for Logan," Ginter said. "To have only played competitive golf for a little over a year and to win a tournament with the caliber of players we saw yesterday was unbelievable. I am so proud of that young man."
Brian Peck, senior, took home the bronze medal in third place, three strokes behind his teammate.

"He [Peck] was so disappointed in his play at our home tournament last week, and for him to bounce back in this way was great," Ginter mentioned. "It bodes well for us as a team that we have had two players place in both tournaments this season."

As a team, Wellington was unable to edge past Wichita Collegiate School, who also won the Wellington tourney on Monday. The Crusaders did come in second place, shooting 319, four strokes behind WCS.

"It was a great day for the golf team on Monday," Ginter said.
