According to Sumner County Attorney, Kerwin L. Spencer, the following felony sentencing hearings were recently held in which the Defendants were committed to serve prison sentences:

On May 2, 2013, Marvin R. Leonard (WM, YOB: 1943) Wellington, was sentenced to serve 32 months in prison for Aggravated Indecent Solicitation of a Child less than 14 occurring in March 2012. Lifetime Post-Release Supervision will begin after the 32 month prison sentence is concluded.On May 9, 2013, Kevin E Parker (BM, YOB: 1978) Wichita, was sentenced to serve 32 months in prison for Attempted Robbery and 2 counts Residential Burglaries occurring on December 3, 2012. Restitution of $2,111.97 was also ordered which will be collected after the 32 month prison sentence is concluded.On May 9, 2013, Gary A. Washburn, Jr. (WM, YOB: 1959) Wichita, was committed to serve 51 months in prison for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Residential Burglary, and Felony Theft. Restitution of $1,100 was also ordered which will be collected following his release from prison.On May 9, 2013, Walter M. Trusdale, Jr. (WM, YOB: 1958) Wichita, was committed to serve 16 months in prison for Felony Theft occurring on March 14, 2012. Restitution of $50,000 was also ordered which will be collected following his release from prison.
