A 6-year-old girl was rescued from an abandoned well after she fell in during a field trip. The trip was to a farm in Lucedale, Miss., CNN reported, and the girl fell in the 14-by-16-inch well while walking around. Rescue efforts took about three hours, but the girl appears to be OK, officials said.
    Quote of note
"As far as I know, this is the exact three-month renewal of what has been the case for the past seven years. This renewal is carried out by the FISA court under the business records section of the Patriot Act. Therefore it is lawful. It has been briefed to Congress." - Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-California, talking about the fact that the government collects phone records of Americans. There was outrage over the revelation, but the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee said a terrorist attack was stopped because of the program.
