Andy “Pyro” Ancell Woodring, 44, of Ponca City, Okla.

Andy "Pyro" Ancell Woodring, resident of Ponca City, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 7, 2013. He was 44.

A Service will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Northeast Baptist Church with Rev. Charley Hudspeth, First Assembly of God Church of Newkirk, officiating. He will be laid to rest in Kaw City at the Grandview Cemetery.

Andy was born on Aug. 14, 1968 in Wellington Kansas. He graduated from Derby High School with the class of 1986. After High School, Andy joined the United States Navy and proudly served our county. Andy was a certified welder and enjoyed being a volunteer firefighter. He loved motorcycles, avid gun collecting, scuba diving, deer hunting, and was proud to belong to the American Veterans Motorcycle Association. Andy also loved animals; especially his dog Peanut who survived the car wreck. Andy is greatly loved and will be missed in the lives of many and he had a heart as big as gold.

He is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Judy Beasley of Kaw City, OK; sister, Jill Deines and her husband Scott of Andover, Kansas; nephew Gage Horsch, niece Gracyn Deines; step-sister Dayla Williams, step-brothers, Lloyd Dale Beasley and Shawn Martinez, and numerous other family members and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Andrew Ernest Woodring, Jr. on June 18, 2012, his grandmother, Helen Rogers and grandpa, Ira A. Bradley.
