Good-Quotations-Are-Forever!

In these first few hours after the Supreme Court decision striking down the Defense of Marriage Act, we already have lots of great quotations.

Here are a few I’ve gleaned from a casual search:

Justice Anthony Kennedy, writing for the court majority, said DOMA “humiliates tens of thousands of children now being raised by same-sex couples.”

Kennedy’s majority opinion used the word “dignity” nine times.

Mike Huckabee tweeted this: “My thoughts on the SCOTUS ruling that determined that same sex marriage is okay: ‘Jesus wept.’”

President Obama tweeted this: Today’s DOMA ruling is a historic step forward for #MarriageEquality. #LovesIsLove.”...
