While the thunder and lightning yesterday afternoon and evening may have wreaked a little havoc on some school ball games, the rain made a beautiful sound as it came down. If you’re curious about the most recent rainfall amounts, the graphic below displays the National Weather Service’s 24-hour precipitation totals as of 7:00 a.m. this morning. We weren’t necessarily the hot spot, but we recorded some nice numbers.
For the moment, we’re looking at dry, gorgeous conditions for the next few days. As we mark the season change this weekend and fall officially settles in, we can expect clear skies with daytime temps right around 80 degrees and overnight lows in the 50’s. Time to open some windows up and let the fresh air flow in!
