GinaThe great ones have a remarkable calmness. They are team players that get along well with others. They don’t take things personally and they multi-task with the skill of a carnvial juggler. They have the ability to think quickly to make decisions. We call them “Dispatchers.”

The person in Stafford County who immediately comes to mind when you think of these qualities is “Gina Schwein.”

Gina is serving her last shift tonight as a full-time Stafford County Dispatcher. We will miss her calm, beautiful voice. Her voice is so pleasing that you might think she was leaving Dispatch to become a television reporter, but her new role will be that of a Treasurer’s Office clerk.

Dispatchers get shortchanged on the recognition they receive for the part they play in an emergency. They are hero’s in every aspect of the word.

Thank You Gina “Hero” Schwein!
