It’s that time again — the tour’s behind him, and Bruce Springsteen will start showing up in various and sundry locations strumming his guitar and looking generally ready to hit the road again. And tomorrow, you’ll be able to watch him do it — there’s a live stream coming for the annual Stand Up For Heroes fundraiser in NYC, where Bruce breaks out a new dirty joke every year.
And we’re not saying he’ll show up — because who knows? —  but tickets are on sale now for New Jersey’s Light of Day shows in January as well.
There’s also been some interesting movement on the part of Springsteen Inc. in terms of getting new music out to his hungry fans — Springsteen’s cover of “Dream Baby Dream,” used with his memorable fan thank-you video, is now on Spotify (although a downloadable version would be nice, hint hint), and other pro-shot official videos from the Wrecking Ball tour continue to trickle out, including a killer version of “Local Hero” from Leeds.

But keep ‘em coming at any rate, Bruce — and in the meantime we’ll keep ourselves occupied with other important Springsteen links from around the web:
  • Hear “Drive All Night” covered by Glen Hansard, with Jake Clemons.
  • Springsteen looms large in a new Irish play.
  • Scroll to the end of this excerpt to read how Bruce Springsteen reached out to onetime Howard Stern regular (and almost-suicide victim) Artie Lange.
  • Take Greasy Lake’s Springsteen Trivia Challenge!
  • Share your Wrecking Ball tour memories with Burgers And Bruce.
  • It’s not too late to recite your favorite Springsteen lyric and get into a Bruce movie — submissions accepted through mid-November.
  • Springsteen’s The Rising comes in at No. 15 on the Rolling Stone  list of best albums of the 2000s.
  • Jake comes into his own: “Beyond the Wrecking Ball Tour, Jake Clemons keeps the faith
