Five members of the Wellington High School volleyball team were named to the Class 4A, Division 4, all league team Tuesday.
They were: Second team - Micah Rogers, a senior, and McKenna Oathout, a sophomore.
Getting honorable mention were Siarah Walker, a sophomore; Abby Goodrum, a sophomore, and Erin Goodrum, a freshman.
Four of the five return next year, and hopes are high that the program will see even better days ahead.
"These girls have many great assets," Coach Cherity Elder said. "It was nice to see 5 girls make the All-League title. They are very young and will continue to get better. Their competitive mentality is a nice addition to their smart play."

Micah Rogers: excellent senior leadership, made great improvement over her high school years, very powerful and was second on the team in kills, looking to continue her volleyball career at the next level
McKenna Oathout: extremely smart on the volleyball court, led the team in assists, very strong all around player, great leadership on and off the court Siarah Walker: very powerful middle hitter, led the team in kills, has made great gains since her freshman year, strong competitor Abby Goodrum: did a great job as an outside hitter especially for her height, very consistent and can count on her to make solid smart plays, extremely competitive and smart on the court Erin Goodrum: A natural setter, but played libero and did an outstanding job, great defensive digs and smart decision maker, made plays that seemed impossible, extremely well rounded player for a freshman
