We aren’t expected to fall far enough to trigger any windchill advisories, but if you do need to be out and about in the wee hours of the night tonight, please make sure that you are properly bundled and protected from the cold.
Our lows are now forecasted to be only a couple of degrees above zero, and windchills could be as low as minus 10 degrees. Saturday night and Sunday night will be frigid as well, but not quite as extreme, with overnight lows improving by several degrees (heat wave!).
The forecast also continues to call for snow chances from Saturday night into Sunday. Snowfall accumulations will range from a trace to two inches across the area, with the higher amounts falling in central Kansas.
