Drafthouse Films, the film distribution wing of Alamo Drafthouse announced today that it has acquired the US distribution rights to Michel Gondry’s (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Green Hornet) film ‘Mood Indigo’. They are planning a multi-city theatrical later in 2014.

The film stars Audrey Tautou,( Amélie, Coco Before Chanel) and Romain Duris, (The Beat My Heart Skipped) as a newlywed couple in Paris. Surreal, beautiful, and touching, ‘Mood Indigo’ was one of my favorite movies at Fantastic Fest 2013. Do go expecting Amelie; this film really needs to be experienced on its own and on a big screen.
