Obituary: Edgar "Leon" Stewart 66, Wellington
Edgar "Leon" Stewart passed away on April 17th, 2014 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Leon was born on December 15, 1947 in Mayfield, Kansas growing up with his sisters: Barbara and Maxine. Leon worked in the aircraft industry for more than 30 years becoming exceptional in his skill craft. Leon was a GOD fearing man who displayed great integrity to those who knew him. He enjoyed road trips with friends, riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and teaching. Leon taught some valuable lessons to his five boys: Corby, Michael, Titus, Shay and Caleb. His most important lesson was "Take care of your family." Leon is survived by his wife of more than 32 years, Bobbie Stewart, sister; Maxine, his five sons listed above and his grandchildren: Deric, Briawna, Abigail, Chloe, Madison, Tanner, Tatum, Sheadyn, Loudyn, Gage and Greyson. Leon will be missed but never forgotten. A memorial service was held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Church of the Nazarene in Wellington, Kansas.
