  • The predicted wave of unseasonably cool air has obviously arrived, as crisp, refreshing temperatures greeted us early this morning. The fall-like 70s are still forecasted to linger through Thursday, before climbing slightly  at the end of the week.  A few rounds of showers and thunderstorms will also be possible during this hiatus from summer.
A slight chance for precipitation exists tonight; however, the activity is expected to fall primarily west of I-135. Better chances for rainfall in our neighborhood will arrive on Wednesday, especially into the evening and overnight hours. The heaviest downpours are again predicted to stay to the west, but we should get a share of the moisture.  At the moment, none of these storms are expected to become severe.
