  • Our skies could start rumbling and churning a little bit Friday, beginning sometime after lunch time.
Better chances will arrive closer to sunset as precipitation chances rise to around 30%.  This activity could continue on through the night and into Saturday morning, though probabilities will fall off the closer we get to sunrise.
No severe activity is expected, though winds could get a little gusty at times and we might see a few small hailstones. Speaking of winds, the “pre-storm” breezes could also get a little gusty, with sustained wind speeds of around 20 mph predicted for Friday, coupled with gusts close to 30 mph.
While waiting for the moisture to show up, temps will hike themselves up to the sultry mid-90s, peaking around that same number each day for the next several days (at least).
