  • The Student Services Department at Cowley College has awarded scholarships to the following students.
    From Belle Plaine High School:
    Haylee Jones, daughter of Daniel and Renee Jones, is the recipient of a Carpenter and Vickers Endowment Scholarship. At Belle Plaine, she participated in SADD, FCCLA, and the school newspaper.
    Heather Wise, daughter of Kenneth and Anna Wise, is the recipient of a Deans Scholarship.
    From Conway Springs High School:
    Bryce Davis, son of Linda Davis, is the recipient of a Academic Civic Engagement through Service Scholarship. At Conway Springs, he was involved in football and tennis. He was a member of the honor roll and plans to major in Non-Destructive Testing.
    Leslie Willson, daughter of Mike and Margaret Willson, is the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship. At Conway Springs, she was involved in volleyball, FCCLA, vocal music, CYO, PSR, the National Honor Society, and Project Prom. She was a member of the Honor Roll and received Assessment Awards in Math, Reading, and Science. She plans to major in psychology.
    From Oxford High School:
    Alex Eckstein, son of Chad and Shirley Eckstein, is the recipient of a Dean?s Scholarship. At Oxford, he was involved in KAYS and Math competitions.
    Alvina McCreary is the recipient of a EA Funk and Harold and Mary Lake Scholarship.
    From Wellington High School:
    Michelle Diver, daughter of Tracy and Paula Diver, is the recipient of a Boyer Trust Fund Scholarship. At Wellington, she was involved in Circle of Friends and Wellington FFA. She was named a Student of the Month and plans to major in nursing.
    Jaedyn Ledesma, daughter of Jay and Linda Ledesma, is the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship. At Wellington, she was involved in cross country, basketball, track and field, Bigs in School, FCA, and was the senior class president. Earned all-league honors in cross country and plans to major in elementary education.
    Andrew Peck, son of Rex and Cassie Peck, is the recipient of a Boyer Education Trust Scholarship. At Wellington, he was involved in FFA and received a Star Farmer Award, state FFA degree, and chapter FFA degree. He plans to major in welding.
