Blood Clots and Arnica

Print
By Angela Taylor

Three years ago when I was 28-weeks pregnant, multiple blood clots the size of quarters were found in both of my lungs. The treatment for this is 6-months of blood thinners from the date of the event. This treatment begins with heparin followed by coumadin. The mother is monitored closely to make sure her dose is "just right".

So, I was on heparin for 3-months followed by 3-months of coumadin. It was not fun and I embarked on a journey to find out why it happened and how to keep it from happening again. There was no medical reason and no family history reason for what had happened - it "just happened" and I was assured that it was very unlikely to occur again. My doctor told me to take one low-dose aspirin every day for the rest of my life but over time aspirin causes significant damage to the lining of the stomach. Instead I chose to use cayenne pepper capsule twice daily. The down side to this is that if not taken with enough water cayenne can cause damage to the throat. Thinking I was "out of the woods" I stopped taking the cayenne. Then last week my right eye became very irritated. It iched and I didn't know why until I looked in the mirror and found that a blood clot had exploded in my eye. A little too close to the brain for me so I began my research again. This time I searched for homeopathic remedies used for blood clotting.

What I discovered was Arnica Montana. Homeopathic Arnica Montana 30X may be used to purify the blood. Blood clots happen when the blood is thick with toxins and other matter that isn't being carried out of the body. This is typically from a poor diet. I admit to eating a poor diet just like most Americans. I have begun cleaning up my diet but apparently my body needs a bit more help in the blood purifying department so I began using Arnica Montana as directed on the bottle (4 tablets under the tongue 4 times daily). Within 24-hours the results of the blood clot in my eye had dramatically reduced and within 48-hours no one could tell the blood clot had ever been there. Arnica has a long list of things that it aids the body with, including:

mental or emotional symptoms,
• stupor, forgetfulness, memory loss

I even found information about Arnica Montana at webmd.com and healthline.com so the benefits are significant enough for there to be research studies being conducted. It is not recommended that Arnica be taken orally in forms other than homeopathic remedies. It also has many benefits when used topically as an oil.

HERE'S THE DISCLAIMER: If you are on medication and/or currently being cared for by a medical doctor, NEVER make changes that might adversely effect your health (like stopping medications) without the knowledge of your care provider. I cannot be too clear on this point. Your care provider needs to know what you are doing or what you want to do BEFORE you do it.....
