Construction efforts taking place simultaneously in Wellington are causing headaches for commuters and businesses around town. On the western portion, a $300,000 repaving project is underway on 15th St. The state is paying 75 percent with the city of Wellington picking up 25 percent. Widening of US-160 to a four-lane section is taking place east of town, with a price tag of $700,000. Wellington is paying for 10 percent of the project, the state is picking up the other 90 percent.
