The Student Services Department at Cowley College has awarded scholarships to the following students for the 2008 fall semester.

Wellington
    Josie Leak, daughter of Denny and Karen Leak, is the recipient of a Art Scholarship. At Wellington, she was involved in FFA, and was the cross country manager. She plans to major in art/psychology.
    Michaela Burger, daughter of Lynda and Duane Grizzle, and Richard and Shannon Burger, is the recipient of a Social Science Department Scholarship. At Wellington, she was involved in FFA, SADD, volleyball, and Choir. She plans to major in early childhood education.
    Rebecca Ryherd, daughter of Jeff and Jessica Ryherd, is the recipient of a Athletic Training Scholarship. At Wellington, she participated in softball, basketball and SADD. She is undecided on a major.

Belle Plaine
    Kara Baggs, daughter of Sheila Siemers, is the recipient of a Instrumental Music Scholarship. At Belle Plaine, she was involved in basketball, volleyball, softball, SADD and the Letterman’s Club. She is undecided on a major.
    Greg Anderson, son of Dave and Pam Anderson, is the recipient of a Natural Science Department Scholarship. At Belle Plaine, he was involved in football, baseball, track, TSA, Scholars Bowl and Letterman’s Club. He plans to major in aeronautical engineering.
