Jackie Glasgow was the winner of the primary for Wellington school board. Results will not be final until they are canvased on Monday.A preliminary was also held for Belle Plaine City Council, with Dennis McGInnis and RIchard Penn getting the most votes.

Here are the schedules for this week's substate basketball tournaments. Winners of these tournaments go on to the state tournament. Wellington will be playing in Winfield. All high school teams in the county are playing.
