The Crusaders fought hard, but were still dominated by the Andale Indians last Tuesday evening

The Crusaders played another challenging team last Tuesday evening against the Andale Indians.  The Crusaders put up a good fight, but ultimately were defeated two out of four of the games that evening.
The Varsity boys lost to Andale 50-36.  
Ian King 15, AJ Snipes 12, Silas Popplewell 6, De’Andre Washington 2, Grey Hatfield 1
JV girls won 55-38.
Wellington Varsity girls are listed:  Shayland French 6, Avery Rusk 8, Rylee Rusk 12, Mekenna Adams 9, Jacelyn Buck 9, Taylor Meyer 2.
Varsity girls lost to Andale 49-46
Scoring for Wellington were: Lexi Clift 18, Myriland French 10, McKenna Jones 7, Myiland French 5, Delaney Parkey 4, Draven Warnock 4, Natalie Henning 3, Kadin Brown 2, Kylie Aufdengarten 2.
The junior varsity boys won 48-45
Scoring for the boys were: Austin Soles 8, Tyler Brown 8, Jacob Ewing 6, Cade Fairbanks 6, Brayden Higginbotham 6, Chance Hamel 2, Zane Cornejo 1.ns.  
The Crusaders are now 2-2 and 0-1 in the AV-CTL DIV.  They will play at Rose Hill Friday before Christmas break.
After coming back from Christmas break, the Crusaders will be playing Mulvane at Wellington at 4:15 p.m. on Jan. 2nd; at Clearwater on Friday Jan. 5th at 4:15 p.m.; Wichita Collegiate at Wellington on Tuesday Jan. 9th at 4:15 p.m.; Augusta at Wellington on Friday Jan. 12th at 4:15 p.m.; at Winfield Tuesday Jan. 16th at 5:00 p.m.; and the Varsity Tournament at Haven High School on January 16th at a time to be announced.
