Margaret Webber, 92, of Wellington, died Monday, May 28, 2018 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington. Margaret was born the daughter of Orvel E. and Ruth R. (Underwood) Broce on Tuesday, December 1, 1925 in Wellington. On July 1, 1943, Margaret and Jack Webber were united in marriage in Wellington. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage. Margaret was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church for many years. Outside of church, she enjoyed volunteering at the Mission Thrift Store and the American Red Cross Blood Mobile. Margaret was also a member of the Jr. Cosmos, J.C. Society and T.O.P.S. She retired from Sumner Cowley Electric after a 35 year career as a cashier and receptionist. Margaret was most proud of raising her two daughters and being a grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Christie Fritzler of Derby; daughter, Georgia Webber of Wellington; grandson, Todd Fritzler of Washington D.C. and a sister, Rella Stover of Geuda Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brother, Jim Broce; infant brother, Alvin Broce and a son-in-law, Lyn Fritzler. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services for Margaret will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the chapel of Cornejo|Day Funeral Home, Wellington. Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens, Wellington, Kansas. A memorial fund has been established in her loving memory to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Wellington Food Bank.
