New Southwestern College faculty and staff were introduced at the annual Welcome Back Dinner held Monday, Aug. 13.
New faculty include:J.K. Campbell, associate professor of education and chair for the Division of Education. He earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Wichita State University; a master of education from Wichita State University; a master of environmental science from Friends University; and a doctor of education degree in educational leadership from Wichita State University. Susan Dutcher, visiting assistant professor of psychology. Dutcher is a licensed psychologist and a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist. She has a master’s degree from Friends University and a doctorate degree from George Fox University. David Youland, assistant professor of business. He earned his bachelor of science degree in business administration and a master of business administration in marketing from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. Jennifer Hemphill, associate professor of theatre. Hemphill earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and a master of fine arts degree in acting from Kent State University. Aaron Knodle, assistant professor of music. Knodle earned a bachelor of music in organ performance and a bachelor of arts in music education from Luther College, as well as a master’s degree in choral conducting from Boston University. He will complete his doctorate in choral conducting from the University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music in December. Nick Bartkoski, assistant professor of business. He earned his bachelor of science degree in journalism and bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Kansas, a master of business administration from the University of Kansas, and a doctor of philosophy in business administration with an emphasis on strategy from the University of Oklahoma. Micah Fry, instructor of communication. She received her associate of arts in mass communication from Cowley College, a bachelor of arts in communication and master of arts in communication from Wichita State University.
