Cowley College awards scholarships to students from 41 schools
 
The Student Services Department at Cowley College has awarded scholarships to the following students.
From Argonia High School:
Kaylee Schulte, daughter of Rick and Tammy Schulte, is the recipient of a Choir Scholarship. At Argonia, she participated in KAY Club, Math Club, FCA, National Honor Society, band, choir, volleyball, basketball, track, and cheer. She received Silver and Gold Work Ethic awards and was a member of the Honor Roll. She plans to major in business management.

From Belle Plaine High School:
Nathanial Menhusen, son of Shannon and Maggie Menhusen, is the recipient of a Presidential/Boyer Trust Fund Scholarship. At Belle Plaine, he was involved in football, band, Letterman’s Club, FFA, and baseball. He is undecided on a major.
Macy Seba, daughter of Brian and Jacie Seba, is the recipient of a Boyer Trust Fund/ACT Scholarship. At Belle Plaine, she was involved in Student Council, FCCLA, National Honor Society, Letterman’s Club, SADD, FLC, cheer, volleyball, and softball. She was a Kansas Honor Scholar and named to the Gold Honor Roll. She plans to major in pre-nursing.
Skyli Scott, daughter of Shane and Stephanie Scott, is the recipient of a Boyer Trust Fund/Presidential Scholarship. At Belle Plaine, she participated in Student Council, band, FCCLA, SADD, FLC, and Pep Club. She plans to major in criminal justice.
Kaylynn Hook, daughter of Troy and Rachel Hook, is the recipient of a Carpenter/Vickers Trust Scholarship. At Belle Plaine, she was a member of the dance team. She plans to major in healthcare.

From Caldwell High School:
Mariah Ward, daughter of Chad and Marica Ward, is the recipient of a Margot Menefee/Graphic Design Scholarship. At Caldwell, she participated in volleyball, cheer, track, band, FCCLA, FCA, Scholar’s Bowl, Math Relays, Student Council, plays, Forensics, and was the TSA president of Teen Advisory Board for Models for Miracles. She plans to major in graphic design.
Daniel Barnes, son of William and Lori Barnes, is the recipient of a Collegiate Quiz Bowl Scholarship. At Caldwell, he participated in Scholars Bowl, band, yearbook, TSA Club, 12-year Club and was a class officer. He plans to major in automotive technology.

From Mulvane High School:
Abbiah Conrad, daughter of Jason and Amanda Conrad, is the recipient of a Theatre Scholarship. At Mulvane, she was involved in Circle of Friends, bowling, track, marching, pep and concert bands, Thespians, theatre, women’s choir, FCA, Debate, Forensics, and the National Honor Society. She was an academic All-American and plans to major in theatre.
Autumn Cole, daughter of Brian and Kristi Cole, is the recipient of a Boyer Trust/Athletic Training Scholarship. At Mulvane, she participated in basketball, softball, Circle of Friends, Student Council, women’s choir, and mixed choir. She plans to major in Biology.

From Oxford High School:
Alannah Thigpen-Edwards, is the recipient of an Athletic Hospitality Scholarship. At Oxford, she participated in softball, volleyball, theatre, and the prom committee. She was the recipient of a Prodigy Award at Cowley Arts Day and plans to major in art.
Alisha Farley, daughter of Tony and Ashley Farley, is the recipient of a Paton Wholesale/Presidential Scholarship. At Oxford, she was involved in Scholars Bowl and was a member of the Dean’s Honor Roll. She plans to major in pre-nursing.

From South Haven High School:
Tiffany Liersemann, daughter of Aaron and Wanda Maxwell, is the recipient of a Boyer Trust Fund Scholarship. At South Haven, she was involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, track, cheer, FCCLA, Jets, plays, Pep Club, Student Council, and was the homecoming queen. She was a member of the Honor Roll and plans to major in business administration.
Fayth Hooper, daughter of John Hooper and Michael Bridges, is the recipient of a Graphic Design Scholarship. At South Haven, she was involved in FCCLA and cheerleading. She plans to major in graphic design.
Karlea Tanner, daughter of Carl and Leanna Tanner, is the recipient of an Early Bird Lions Club Scholarship. She plans to major in pre-nursing.
Carly Kimzey, daughter of Brian and Sue Kimzy, is the recipient of a Robert Brown Memorial Scholarship. At South Haven, she participated in volleyball and softball. She plans to major in pre-physical therapy.

From Wellington High School:
Avery Rusk, daughter of Mickey and Gina Rusk, is the recipient of a Boyer Trust Fund/Tiger Academic Scholarship. At Wellington, she participated in tennis, softball, and basketball. She plans to major in sports management.
Brycen Stuteville, son of Daniel and Gina Ellis, is the recipient of an Instrumental Music/Band Scholarship. At Wellington, he participated in the Action Team and was a student ambassador. He plans to major in instrumental music.
Avery Rademacher, son of Travis and Amy West, is the recipient of a Galaxy Technologies Scholarship. At Wellington he participated in tennis. He plans to major in mechatronics.
Brandon Oleson, son of Devan and Kim Oleson, is the recipient of a Boyer Trust Fund/Theatre Scholarship. At Wellington, he was involved in Crusaders of the Stage. He plans to major in theatre.
Zoey Maxwell, daughter of Aaron Maxwell and Andrea Banner, is the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship. At Wellington, she was involved in volleyball, Student Council, the National Honor Society, and was the wrestling team manager. She was a member of the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and plans to major in Liberal Arts.
