* At  9:45 AM Monday the stage was 13.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late Tuesday morning and
  continue to rise to near 21.0 feet by early Thursday morning.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet...Low lying agricultural fields flood north of
  the river gage site.

Slate Creek is currently at 12.40 feet near Wellington. There is standing water in several locations along both sides of Highway 160 between Wellington and Winfield.
