The Sumner County Farm Bureau and the Sumner County Economic Development Commission are co-sponsoring an informational meeting at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, for anyone interested in learning more about Wind Farm Leasing.
    The meeting will be held at the Raymond Frye Complex, 320 N. Jefferson in Wellington.
    The featured speaker for the evening will be Mike Irvin, attorney for Kansas Farm Bureau.
    Irvin currently serves on the Kansas Wind Working Group formed by Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and has done numerous seminars on wind lease issues.
