Van crashes into building

A Ford Minivan plowed into the side of the Sumner County Family Care Center building on 16th Street, Monday morning. Police and fire crews responded to the scene. The van struck the side of the building, causing the vehicle to go inside a small storage area. No injuries were reported.

A Ford Minivan plowed into the side of the Sumner County Family Care Center building on 16th Street, Monday morning. Police and fire crews responded to the scene. The van struck the side of the building, causing the vehicle to go inside a small storage area. No injuries were reported.

Witnesses said the woman driving the van was pulling out of the building's parking lot, where she was headed eastbound on US 160. The woman was trying to put on her seatbelt when the van swung around and struck the side of the doctor's office.

It is unknown at this time whether any citations will be issued.
