Aviators Jeff Jackson, Lenny Ohlsson, Dick Kranz, Dennis “Stoneman” Demers and Gene Coleman made their way onto the Wellington Airport runway, Monday afternoon on their cross-country journey from Spruce Creek, Fla. The group will fly across the US in their vintage aircraft with a final destination for the US/Canada border. The group will land on a grass airstrip going east and west on the Canadian Border, just north of Vancouver. Their next stop is Denver, Colo. The annual trip features a 1980 Citabria, Maule, Husky and 1941 Waco Trainer, featured above.
