Kansas FFA members earn scholarships

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The National FFA Foundation awarded approximately $143,000 in scholarships to 117 Kansas FFA members to further their education. The announcement was made Thursday at the 82nd Kansas FFA Convention on the Kansas State University campus.

      The foundation distributed $1.9 million in the form of scholarships generously donated by 132 sponsors. The awards ranged from $1,000 to $5,000 to be used to gain education at a two-year or four-year institution.
