Pupils pumped for state assessments

The Wichita State University Cheer squad made an appearance Friday at Kennedy Elementary school as a part of a pep assembly to get the third through fifth graders pumped up to take the Kansas State Assessment tests. WSU mascot WU Shock tagged along with the squad and interacted with students. Similar pep assemblies were held at Washington and Eisenhower featuring the Wellington High School
