A Mulvane teen remains in critical condition at a Wichita hospital after an accident that sent four people to the hospital, Sunday afternoon.
Capt. Mike Yoder of the Sumner County Sheriff’s Department said a 15 year-old female from Mulvane exited from K-15 onto 119th Street or K-53 after stopping at a stop sign.
The teen turned her Honda Civic westbound and was hit broadside by a 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup traveling eastbound.
The driver of the pickup was 46 yera-old Roxanne Englehardt, also of Mulvane.
Three juvenile passengers —aged 13, 14, and 16 — in the pickup were transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
The teen driver of the Honda Civic was airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in critical condition with severe head injuries.
