Wellington Firefighters successfully put out a car fire on the Kansas Turnpike, Friday afternoon. The call came in around 5 p.m. with units responding quickly to the scene. A vehicle hauling a trailer near Mile Marker 25 starts to set a blaze in the Southbound lanes. Both the car and trailer were a complete loss. No injuries were reported.
