A Wellington man faces charges of unlawfully discharging a firearm in the City limits after he reportedly had some problems with neighborhood dogs.
Wellington Police Chief Tracy Heath said the shot was called in Friday and officers responded to the 200 block of South Bright Street in the City’s southeastern edge.
Officers made contact with Booker T. Washington III, 46, of Wellington, who was subsequently charged through municipal court, Heath said.
Heath said the firearm used was a type of shotgun. No other individuals were involved in the case, he said.
