A great start offensively and solid defense the entire game sent the Pratt Greenbacks past Coffeyville-Field Kindley 61-34 in this afternoon's third place game at the Class 4A State Tournament in Salina.

Junior Matt Swank hit his first five shots and paced the Greenbacks to a 24-12 lead after one quarter.

Pratt's defense ruled the second quarter, as Coffeyville did not make a field goal and the Greenbacks stretched their lead to 37-13 at halftime.

Swank finished with 25 points and 11 rebounds, plus handed out two assists and blocked two shots. Micah Swank added 13 points, seven assists and two steals while Skylar Angood and Luke Southard each had seven points.

The Greenbacks finished the season with a 23-3 record, just three years after enduring a winless season.
