TRACTOR SAFETY TRAINING

Wednesday, April 7, 2010 

      Planning on working on a farm this summer? If you are 14 or 15 years of age and plan to work for someone other than your parents, you are required by FEDERAL LAW to take an instruction course on tractor safety. Also, some employers require this training for those 16 years of age and older who have not had tractor operation experience.

      The training will be held Wednesday, April 7, at 6:00 p.m. at the Cowley County Courthouse Meeting Room, in Winfield, Kansas.

      The training fee of $10 is payable the day of the training.

      To pre-register, contact the Cowley County Extension Office at 620-221-5450. Pre-registration is required by Monday, April 5.
