Wellington, Kan. —
Four students at Lincoln Elementary received early Christmas presents. Kyle Atkinson, Aisha Squires, Devlyn Nichols, and Mallory Parsons received AmTryke bicycles. Dave and Vicki Tangeman from Ambucs Breakfast Bandits club in Salina, KS presented each of these students with a brand new bike this week. These bikes will provide recreation, exercise, and independence for the students. The smiles were contagious as the bikes were fitted to each student and they took their first ride.
Ambucs is a national service organization composed of diverse men and women. The Salina AM Breakfast Bandits come together each week to create independence and mobility for people with disabilities. Ambucs provides fun, innovative service opportunities for people who want to help their community. The volunteers make their spare time go along way. The students and their families are grateful for the assistance.
