Patricia Sutton, of Safford, entered into peaceful rest early Friday morning, June 16, 2017. She was 74.

Patricia Anne Sutton was born Jan. 1, 1943, in Winfield, Kans., the daughter of George and Mary Naw Booe. Pat grew up in Winfield, attending school there.

Pat and her husband of 32 years, Earl, traveled parts of the country together. Earl worked construction and Pat kept the house everywhere they went. She would make each place their own with her talent of decoration.

For the past 20 years, Pat and Earl made Safford their home. Pat loved the mountains and the desert landscape. Each time they would travel to see family and friends, Pat was always ready to come home.

Pat is survived by: her husband, Earl Sutton of Safford; three sons, Steven May, Brian May and Jim May all of Wellington; two step-daughters, Deborah Crow of Winfield, Kans., and Theresa Rogian of Dallas, Texas; two step-sons, Tim Sutton of Wichita, and Alan Sutton of Rose Hill, Kans.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Booe of Winfield, Kans.; three step-brothers, Tom Sweet, Terry Sweet and Tony Sweet; and her step-mother, Helen Heilig of Winfield, Kans.

Pat was preceded in death by: her parents, George and Mary Booe; a brother, Robert Booe; and a grandson, Jim Jr.

A Celebration of Pat's Life will be conducted in Winfield, Kans., at a later date.
