Karen Nola (Witham) Imsdahl, of Wellington, passed on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 at Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita, at the age of 60.
Karen was born the daughter of Lawrence E. and Shirley (Watkins) Witham on Thursday, May 2, 1957 in Dover Foxcroft, Maine.
On Dec. 20, 1999, Karen and William "Bill" Imsdahl were united in marriage in Wellington. Together they celebrated 17 years of marriage.
Karen was employed at Halibrand Engineering for over 10 years, where she and Bill met, and spent time in nearly all parts of the company. She then spent time in maintenance and custodial work at the local hospital and library.
Her jobs allowed her to meet and make friends with many people.
She will be dearly missed by them and her family.
Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Imsdahl of Wellington; daughter, Tess Witham of Lincoln, Neb.; son, Daniel King and his wife Sherry of Caldwell; son, Andrew King and his wife Alexandra of Wellington; sister, Gayla Baker and her husband John Wayne of Perth; brother, Gary Witham and his wife Jennifer of Wellington; uncle, Maurice "Mo" Watkins of Wellington; aunt, Betty Holdaway of Wellington, and her beloved grandchildren: Billy King and his wife Kirstan, Jeremy, Abby, Matthew, Connor, Drake, Annabella, Jaxson, Ronin, Jasper and Lexie and her great-grandchildren: Apollo and Persephone.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Witham; brother, Kevin Witham and grandson, Chaz King.
Memorial services for Karen will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 in the chapel of Cornejo|Day Funeral Home, Wellington.
Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens, Wellington.
