Pauline Milliken, 75, of Wellington, passed on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at the Shelley Family Funeral home in Wellington.

No visitation is scheduled.

Pauline (Polly) LeJune Milliken was born Nov. 13, 1941, the first daughter of John Dearing and Charlie June Metcalf in Beaumont, Texas. As a small child she moved with her family to Wetmore Colo., where she grew up. She attended High School in Florence Colo. As an adult later in life she moved to Texas where she married the love of her life Anthony (Tony) Milliken on Oct. 3, 1987.

She was an avid reader and book lover. She loved her Chihuahua dogs and was a very well-known breeder and traveled the United States as a dog handler wining many awards. She was very  proud of her family. Pauline worked as a comptroller at H.M Brown car dealership in Denver, Colo. Pauline was a counselor for AA for 37 years.

Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Tony Milliken; her children: Michael Bateman, Thomas Bateman and wife Barb, Kelly Alexander and Shaun Bateman all of Texas,  seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia “Trish” Norine Schulz.
