Ray Wayne Metz, 67, of Wellington, died, Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008.
    He was born on Oct. 4, 1940.
    He was born and raised in Wichita.
    Many would know Ray as he worked for the water treatment, driver’s license, Orscheln Farm and Home and Auto Zone.
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at Maple Street Baptist Church in Oxford with Pastor Steve Cross officiating.
    Preceding him in death were his parents Evelyn Edmonds Metz and W.W. (Johnnie) Metz.
    Survivors include: son, Shane W. Metz of Fresno, Calif.; grandchildren Amber, Jonathan, and Nichole; sister Shelia Dee Harrington of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers C.B. Metz and wife Karen and Moran Metz and wife Robyn, all of Oxford.
