Nuss, Galen Lee, 69, with his family by his side, passed Tuesday evening March 9, 2010.  A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm, Saturday, at First Baptist Church of Wellington.  Galen was born Oct. 29, 1940 and was a lifelong resident of Wellington, where he made his career as a lineman for the City of Wellington, and Sumner Cowley Electric from where he retired in 2000.  Galen and his father, S.A. Nuss, were partners in pest control business, originally spraying cattle, and then eventually spraying trees for many local residents and farms around the community.  On the weekend, you could find Galen and his family at the Wellington Lake camping and skiing.  Galen knew no stranger; he had acquired many dear friends throughout the years.  He was married 49 years and is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and David Eagle of Wellington; son, Rick Nuss of Haysville; sister, Donna Berger of Phoenix; grandchildren, David, Lee, Justin and Amanda and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with First Baptist Church of Wellington, 201 W. Lincoln Ave., Wellington, KS 67152. Share online condolences at www.CozineMemorial
