Shirley A. Conway
Shirley A. Conway, formerly of Wichita, Kansas, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains in Dodge City, Kansas at the age of 74.
Shirley was born the daughter of Nora N. (Lile) and Berlin B. Craven on Sunday, November 3, 1935 in Caldwell, Kansas. Her parents precede her in death.
She was an avid Bridge player and recently owned a Bridge Studio in Wichita, Kansas. Bridge was a big part of her life.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Conway, sister Doris Moyer and brothers: Donald Craven and Jack Craven.
Survivors include her niece, Michele Musick, great-nieces: Jennifer Rucker and Lindsay Musick all of Dodge City, Kansas, mother-in-law, Maurita Craven, sisters-in-law: Tandy Craven and Marilee Craven all of Wellington, Kansas, brother-in-law, Jack Conway of Wichita, Kansas along with 3 step-daughters and 2 step-sons.
Visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home from Noon to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2010.
Funeral services for Shirley will follow the visitation and begin at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in the chapel of Day Funeral Home, Wellington.
Interment will follow in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the Shirley A. Conway Memorial Fund, c/o Day Funeral Home, 1030 Mission Road, Wellington, Kansas 67152. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
