Richard E. Barnes, 79, of Harper, retired farmer, lontime Milton resident, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008 at the Pleasant View home in Inman, Kan.
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. .11, 2008, at Milton United Methodist Church in Milton.
    Survivors include: wife, Joann; children, Douglas Barnes, Gary Barnes, both of Milton, Greg Barnes of Pratt, Debra Blankenship of Haven, Kan., Sandra Unruh of Harper, Cheri Bishop of Morrison, Colo., Donnie Gilley of Colorado Springs; one brother Darrel Barnes of Norwich, Kan.; one sister Linda Price of Waco, Texas; 25 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
    A memorial has been established with the Milton United Methodist Church or Pleasant View Home Activity Fund.   
    Arrangements made by Ebersole Mortuary in Conway Springs.
