Virgil O’Neil, 60, of Winfield, died Wednesday, July 3, 2008 at his home in Winfield.
    Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday July 8, 2008, at the Mount Vernon Cemetery in rural Winfield.
    Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8p.m., Monday July 7, 2008, at the Oxford Funeral Service Chapel with family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
    Survivors include: mother Anelle L. O’Neil of Winfield, brothers Jerry O’Neil of Winfield and Rodney O’Neil of Rocheport, Mo., as well as a niece and two nephews.
    Preceding him in death was his father Ward O’Neil.
    A memorial has been established with the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
