Frances E. Ames, 96, of Wichita, formerly of Wellington, died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the Presbyterian Manor in Wichita.
    Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 12, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church in Wellington.
    Rev. Jane Brigden-Graham was officiant.
    Organist was Mary Ellen Garver.
    Soloist was Danny Jones.
    Casket Bearers were Derek Dobbins, Jeff Ames, Bob White, Jerry Lewallen, LeRoy Klima, Mike Glick and Warnie Farley.
    Interment was at Sumner Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wellington.
    Memorials have been established with the First Presbyterian Church in Wellington.
    Hawks Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellington is in charge of the arrangements.
