Lenora L. (Pennington) Strong, 96, of Caldwell, died Monday, June 16, 2008 at her residence in Caldwell.
    Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Caldwell City Cemetery. Pastor Richard Awtrey of the First Baptist Church in Caldwell was officiant.
    Kim White was the vocalist.
    Casket Bearers were Kevin Cink, Jason Cink, Chris Strong, Levi Strong, Teresa Cink and Travis Chitwood.
    Honorary Casket Bearers were Melody Shaw, Janelle Strong, Darren Strong and Kimberly Cink.
    A memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas in Wellington. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
